Starting from 7/21/2025... After several trial and errors, we're finally ready to take the New York sandwich even further! Since El Tio's kitchen doesn't have space for a smoker, we cook it sous-vide as with all of our other meats to keep it really tender and moist. Now it's closer to the famous Reuben sandwich, which is what El Tio really wanted in the first place! We hope you like it!

El Tioのキッチンにはスモーカーを置く場所がないため、他のお肉と同様に低温調理でじっくり火を通し、しっとり柔らかく仕上げています!
やっとあの有名な「ルーベンサンドイッチ」により近くなっており、実はこれこそがEl Tioオジサンが初めから目指していました。

Starting from 7/21/2025... After several trial and errors, we're finally ready to take the New York sandwich even further! the New York is inspired by the famous pastrami sandwiches in, well, New York! The beef is coated in our special spice mix and cooked for 14 hours to make it really tender and easy to eat. Then it's slightly seared and assembled for a delicious meal.

ニューヨークサンドは有名なパストラミサンドからインスパイアされた商品です！牛バラが秘密のスパイスでまぶされて14時間じっくりと調理してます。柔らかくて食べやすいです！注文が入ったらちょっと焼いてからパンに挟んで、美味しいニューヨークの出来上がりです！

シンプルなアイデアから始まり、キッチンカーを開くことを考えた結果、「エル・ティオ」が生まれました。それは純粋な情熱からでした。それに、美味しいサンドイッチを食べたかっただけです。
2024年の12月頃から計画を始め、少しずつキッチンに入れる設備を探し出しました。幸運なことに、同じく事業に情熱を持っている人に出会えてリフォームまで依頼できました！　たくさんのつながりのおかげで、お店を高松で運営するために必要な許可や資格を得るサポートを受けられました。
少しずつですが、サンドイッチを街中に広めて、いつかはフードトラックや本格的なお店を持つという夢を叶えたいと思っています。「エル・ティオ」はまだ始まったばかりです！

Starting from a simple idea of opening a casual food truck, El Tio was born out of pure passion. Also I just wanted to eat a good sandwich. Planning started around December, and slowly I started to find equipment to put in my kitchen. I was so lucky to have met someone who is able to do renovations who is also passionate in what they do. Through many connections I was able to get the help that I needed to get all the licenses and qualifications necessary to run a shop here in Takamatsu. Slowly but surely I hope to spread my sandwiches across the city and eventually reach the dream of having a food truck or even a proper shop. This is just the beginning for El Tio!

ゴーストキッチンとは？

ゴーストキッチンは、お店で食べる場所がない「料理だけ作るキッチン」のことです。お客さんは、スマホのアプリなどで料理を注文して、エルティオの場合はお店まで取りに行く設定です。

ふつうのレストランとちがって、お店の中で食べることはできません。だから、お店の見た目やイス・テーブルはありません。その分、お金をあまりかけずに料理を作ることができます。

なんで値段も安くなりますし、どこにでも食べれます！

El Tio does not have a physical store. It's also known as a "Ghost Kitchen".

A ghost kitchen is a place where food is made, but there is no dining area for customers. You can't eat there. Instead, people order food using apps like Uber Eats, and the food is delivered to their homes.

Unlike regular restaurants, ghost kitchens don't have tables, chairs, or signs outside. This helps save money because they only focus on cooking.

So the price is lower for you the customer, and you can also enjoy it anywhere you like!

Bit of a longer reel today. We couldn't find bread that suited our needs so we ended up making it ourselves. Everything from the shape, taste, texture, was carefully tweaked. By making the bread, the price goes down for you too, so it's a win win all round!

Everything from designing, cooking, is all done by myself so it's taking a bit longer than expected, sorry all!
Fortunately I have a lot of support from the people close to me, so I've been able to finally reach this point. I've nothing but gratitude. Even once it's open for business, I'm going to take it slow. Not rushing, but relaxed is a core ethos of El Tio. Wishing everyone the best.
